JUST days after she took a tumble during a shopping trip in London, Salma Hayek put on a much more more elegant display in Lebanon.
The actress undoubtedly turned heads for all the right reasons as she walked the red carpet at the global premiere of The Prophet in Beirut tonight.
With her dark tresses styled into glamourous waves, the 48-year-old stunned the crowd before posing with her father Sami.
The Mexican beauty, who produced the animated movie, flashed her ample bust in a show-stopping blue dress, featuring a wide and low-cut neckline.
The chic gown came complete with voluminous skirt, glittery embroidery and a subtle floral pattern throughout.
Speaking about her latest project, Salma admitted it has been a labour of love that helped her explore her relationship with her late Lebanese grandfather, who adored Kahlil Gibran's book of which the flick is based.
The Prophet, based on the 1923 novel, follows the story of Almitra, a headstrong girl who forms a friendship with the imprisoned poet Mustafa, voiced by actor Liam Neeson.
The star was seen blowing kisses at fans who lined her route, before posing for photos and speaking to reporters.
Earlier in the day, Salma attended a press conference for the flick alongside director Roger Allers and Lebanese musician and composer Gabriel Yared.
Salma chose an eye-catching dress for the event in striking blue and white, which had bold pansy appliqué along the front.
When asked about The Prophet, Salma told The Guardian's G2 magazine: "It's not a religious book, it's poetic and philosophical.
"It's a book written by an Arabic man. Which unites all religions. That itself I think is important."
